FAMILY PROMISE NEWS
The Family Promise launch has been delayed as a new director needs to be hired. This includes the planned training for volunteers. We will keep you posted as things progress in these areas. In the meantime the Day Center is being setup and volunteers are needed at Portland Community of Christ (4837 NE Couch St. Portland). Volunteers are working to clean, paint, furnish and create a warm and welcoming space for families. Would you like to help? Contact Board Member Christina Self. Also, if you have IT skills and can dedicate 5 hours of time to help set up the needed IT infrastructure at the Day Center, please contact Beckie Lee.
