Curious about the enneagram? Ennea what? Just generally interested in
understanding yourself or others better? The Bible tells us we are “fearfully and
wonderfully made”. Our founding theological forebear, Jean Calvin, links
knowledge of the self to knowledge of God. The Enneagram is a tool that helps us
tap into our created essence and overcome the fixations that distance us from who
we were created to be. Our explorations of the enneagram will be steeped in prayer
as we bravely seek to know ourselves and our creator more deeply.
Join Sarah Sanderson-Doughty, pastor of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church,
Conflict Team leader for the Presbytery of the Cascades, and Enneagram
Enthusiast, for four consecutive Wednesday evening zoom classes from 7-8:15 pm
on September 20, September 27, October 4, and October 11, for an introduction to a powerful tool for spiritual growth and relational health.
Sarah invites you to read or skim either The Enneagram Made Easy: Discover the 9 Types of People (by Elizabeth Wagele and Renee Baron) or The Road Back to You: An Enneagram Journey to Self-Discovery (by Ian Cron and Suzanne Stabile) prior to the first gathering. Copies of the books will be available in the church library. If more are needed, more will be ordered. Don’t want to read in advance? Just come! All are welcome.
