Date: October 29th
Time: 7 pm
Location: RCPPC Sanctuary
- On the evening of October 29th at 7 pm, Rae Richen and family will be giving a
concert in the sanctuary, following our Covid-19 protocols. - Our very special friend, pianist Carol Kilmer, will join Margaret Richen Price and Ben Price to play the
wonderful, reconstructed, and long-lost Bach Double Concerto for violin and oboe.
Margaret, - Ben and Rae will perform other pieces by Johann Sebastian Bach plus
music by a more contemporary composer inspired by Bach. - During the concert, Rae will provide short commentary on Bach’s family, on the
missing Bach manuscripts, on the dangers of seeking asylum from gangs, and brief
readings from her suspense novel, In Concert. - Those of you who have read the novel already will have the fun of seeing part of the
story’s final concert recreated and will learn more about why the novel was written,
and what fun scenes had to be left out. - For those who have not had the chance to read this tale of suspense, we will not be
selling books because that would create a crowded situation, but you will be able to
take a flyer telling you where you can get the novels you may not yet have read. - Put October 29th on your calendar. We look forward to seeing you and sharing our
music and our fun.
